GAME RULES
Sticks for Soldiers is a charity lacrosse event held in Fairfield, CT to raise money for wounded troops.
Varsity teams from Tri-State area high schools will participate in a 6 vs 6 (boys) and 8 vs 8 (girls) tournament game format. Team entry fees, raffles and other fundraising events will be donated to this year’s honoree and selected nonprofits.
This year, we plan to have 19 boys and 11 girls teams entered in the lacrosse event. The games will start at 9:00 am, and each team should play 3 games, concluding the day by approximately 3:00 pm. The field configuration will be larger in 2025 with three fields per football field, running widthwise.
The spirit of this charity tournament requires the highest level of sportsmanship and good character from the players, coaches, parents and fans. Participation requires this acknowledgment. Unsportsmanlike conduct of any kind will not be tolerated.
